Centennial Woodworking was founded by Perry Salyer in 2000. With a dream in his heart and a saw in his hand, he left behind his successful career as a Regional Manager. With a great background in customer service, he knew that taking care of clients was the key to a successful business. Combined with his lifetime passion for woodworking, Centennial Woodworking was born.
Throughout the last two decades, Centennial has seen constant growth. Through shop improvements and added employees, today Centennial Woodworking has become Mid-Michigan’s premier cabinet maker with eight full-time employees, an efficient woodshop, and a stunning showroom.
Our 6000-square-foot shop is the heart of Centennial Woodworking, filled with just the right amount of modern technology to make our construction precise and efficient without sacrificing the hand-crafted touches that make our cabinetry special. Our custom cabinet makers cut all parts in-house, hand-sand each piece, and finish them with experienced spray technicians. Our talented team handles and assembles every piece with care and precision.

Owner and President with over 4 decades of experience in woodworking. Perry is closely involved with each aspect of the company. He provides continuous insight and instruction to ensure the quality he created Centennial Woodworking on is apparent in each client interaction and cabinet.
Owner and Production Manager with almost 30 years of experience in cabinet design and the building industry. She is always looking for the little nuances, and big-picture ideas, in every project. Working closely with our cabinet makers and designers, Lynette coordinates every project through the initial design, building, and installation phases.
Designer and Project Manager with a degree in Architecture. Olivia’s experience in the kitchen and bath field has involved coordinating complete remodeling projects from the design phase and choosing materials through the installation. Olivia works closely with each client to facilitate a smooth remodeling or new build project that brings your vision to life.
Our team of talented craftsmen; Ben, Joe, Matt, Wes, and Dan, build each cabinet from start to finish. The Centennial Team works closely with each other, and our clients, to ensure that every aspect of each job is meticulously cared for.
